Mahabharat War- Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta Origin

Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta was said by Lord Shri Krishna (Hindu God) to Arjun, so as to eradicate obstacles from the mind of Arjun before Mahabharat war. As Mahabharat war took place within own relatives, at that time Arjun was feeling sad about having war with his near once. Mahabharat, was the war of religion, set at the place known as Kurukkeshtra i.e. why that place is termed as auspicious and religious land as the war was for getting a piece of land from own kingdom of land. This war takes places thousands of years ago between Pandav's and Kaurawa's who belongs to same kingdom.

For the war purpose, Kurav's and Pandav's meets Lord Shri Krishna for his involvement in the war. Kaurav's asked Shri Krishna for his armed force and Pandav's asked for Lord Shri Krihna himself to help them in the war, so both gets respectively according to their desires. This war happened with all rules and regulations and was  full of tactics, strategies, management with shows a real competitive ways to won the war any how by following the path of truth.


Shrimad Bhgwat Geeta was originated and narrated within this war place by the words from mouth of Lord Shri Krishna which was having spiritual and philosophical lessons to Arjuna about having war and why Arjuna must not feel sad on having this war between his own relatives. In this text Shri Krishna explained to Arjuna about his basic work i,e, to fight for rights as being the protector of his own kingdom and he have to do so for his future.

Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is divided into 18 chapters, every chapter contain poetic text or phrases known as sholaka's. This blog will keep on updating on these 18 chapters with their meaning and understandings about its psychology and its context from today's world.
